*Teej festival* celebrated in Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir Phagwada
Teej festival was celebrated under the supervision of Principal Shri Vineet Kumar ji at Dhannu Mal Chadda Yogesh Gupta Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, village Molly, Phagwada on 06 August,2022. This program was started by lighting a lamp. Nursery class children chanted basic mantra.
Importance of Teej by children and glimpse of Punjabi culture presented by Gidde Bhangde and poems. Children explained the importance of Teej through speech and the reason to celebrate it. He presented his enthusiasm with scrap and gidda. On the occasion of Teej, children displayed their talents with their mothers on stage.
On this occasion, the head of the school management committee Mr. Krishna Bajaj ji, Manager Mrs. Manju Arora ji and senior member of the committee Mr. Sushil Verma ji, Mr. Praveen Dhunna ji were present with family. Mothers of students attended this program and enjoyed the festival beautifying the school premises. Management committee members guiding everyone and explained how to keep the school moving on the path of progress.
Exhibition of Chakha, Madani and other old things were put up by the Acharyas to keep the children connected with their culture in which they explained the use and importance of these displayed objects. On this occasion all school Acharyas Amarjeet Kaur, Bindu Wadhwa, Kusum, Lalita, Navneet Kaur, Sharanpreet Kaur, Saroj, Rajni Bedi, Harpreet Kaur and Hans Raj were present. Principal Shri Vineet Kumar ji thanked all the parents and chief guests who came on this occasion and wished for such guidance in the coming times. At last mothers and Acharya didis of children celebrated Teej festival by throwing vultures.
