💐SHARDA SARVHITKARI MODEL SR SEC SCHOOL SECTOR 40D CHANDIGARH 💐FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATED💐
Founder’s Day was celebrated in the memory of late Shri Shanti Swarup Sharda Ji,a well known industrialist and social worker. The program started with the performance of sacred ritual ‘Hawan’ seeking the blessings of Almighty with chanting of mantras and offerings into the fire creating a revitalised and rejuvenating effect for both the body and mind.
School Director Sh.B.S Kanwar , Sh.Vivek Sharda (grandson of Shri Shanti Swarup Sharda,founder of the school)his family members and members of management committee graced the occasion.Tree Plantation and Dana Pani for birds was also done after the Hawan in the school premises . Beautiful Rakhis made by the students of class 2nd to 8th in Rakhi Making Activity conducted by the Art Teachers Ms. Rashim and Prabhjit were exhibited in the school Hall. While
addressing the students, School Director Sh.B.S Kanwar made the students realize the responsibility of taking forward their school and inspired them to serve the country by becoming disciplined citizens.
