_FIRE SAFETY_

Mock Drill on fire safety was organised in

Sharda Sarvhitkari Model Sr. Sec. School Sector 40D Chandigarh . Students were made aware about different types of fire extinguishers including, wet chemical, dry powder, CO2, foam and water.

They were shown how to use extinguisher in case of fire emergency . The students were given the opportunity to doze off the fire themselves under guidance .

Tips on evacuation were shared like taking baby steps, not to panic, and to gather in the ground. Safety measures like rolling on the ground if you are caught in fire , switching off the main power supply and not to use lift in any case were shared .
